2017 Veek. Just finished modding it, just the sump guard left todo when Posty delivers it.

My BSA outfit back in 1968. Started life as a 1954 B31 350. I put in a 500 crank, barrel and head and had 16 inch rims laced to the original hubs. An old race seat, a 5 gallon f/glass tank, Flat trials bars and a Watsonian single seat chair.  One of my favourite bikes, it took me all over the country for 3 years and only went when marriage forced me onto something with a roof.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

The tank's, um, interesting. Was looking at a very similar solo last week on my round. Parked at the home of a Norton Dominator owner. The Beezer had the same tapered pushrod tower. It was warm, and smelt like a Proper Motorcycle. Oil and Solvol.
Great picture.

I can smell the rickets and rationing from here.

Thank you Brockett for sharing. :)
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Picked her up today. 46 mile trip home, from a dealer 6 miles away!, and love it.

Couple of things spotted on the PDI to be sorted... Most notably a new tank due to a chip.

Big smiles here!

My 2004 VStrom 650 down at Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast last week. Run down from Norwich on a Sunday morning (earlyish to enjoy the mainly car free B roads) for a bacon butty, testing my new Road 5 Trail tyres (which went very well :))
I've owned it since April 2005 (it was just under a year old) when it had 1800 miles on and now it has about 44000. Had lots of adventures on it (including going to a European Katana rally on it when my 1100 Katana threw a hissy fit and refused to go!), plus other Euro and UK trips, work in the nice months and general fun at other times. Hoping to get off to the Bikers Classics in Spa on it later this month.
=================================
DL650K4 bought in April 2005 with 1800 miles, now showing 45000 (July 2018).
