Mark's Frame Protectors shown here viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3165 do fit the Wee.

Here are mine, a doddle to fit and the quality is excellent!

They look good, I feel my wallet is getting lighter again!

Andy, I think you forgot to clean your footpegs. :neen:

(there's a spot or two on the exhaust cover too).

Hi all,

Just got my frame protectors yesterday. Bloody hell they're good quality! As Cymarceng says 'he doesn't make cheap-shit stuff' and he's not joking. Should I be involved in some kind of air-to-bike missile attack, these'll still be entirely intact!

Thanks to Cymarceng for the speedy delivery, and for making all these lovely things for such ridiculously low prices!

Cheers,
Steve.

Mate, it`s a new bike mate - he`s not obsessive/compulsive - he`s only just got it.

Anyway, come and fix my intercom before I get too old to use it  :limp:

Careful, he'll be putting them up if you shout too loud. (only joking). I got some of these a few weeks ago and I agree, they are good tackle.

Went up to Scunthorpe last week to have my new frame protectors put on, and as usual, Mark was offering me a brew as I was dismounting my steed, which was most welcome.

He had his usual moan about being busy and not having enough time to develop more goodies for the Strom :sarc:
I just humoured him until he'd fitted my new shiny parts

He does do a good job of the kit he makes, there's no doubt. But I was really happy that this time around he didn't get all gooey about them and whisper sweet nothings to them as he fitted them :-x
I really think he's moved on

Nice bloke, nice frame protectors and nice free fitting service (I don't think he would have refused another bottle of red but I had to take advantage of the offer this time).

Thanks Mark! :thumb:

Let me know when you've made something else and I'll be back for that too

As long as you are taking the piss out of the suppliers, that's the main thing  :thumb:   lol  lol

Morning all, anyone know the torque setting for the M10 bolt that holds the left frame protector on?

what's the rubber looking thing in the picture that appears to protect the frame (behind the steel)?

was this part an extra? or is it fitted to the newer 650s?

Those rubber things are frame protectors and  came as standard on my bike.

They were (still are) on mine. They seem to be Suzuki's own frame protectors. Presumably designed/fitted by someone who was unaware of the meaning of the word 'protect'.  Cymarc's (a)look much better, and (b)work!

Cheers,
Steve.
P.S. Can someone make it stop raining now?

Don't think they were fitted to earlier models or 1000's.
Not exactly sure though.  Maybe someone else can confirm.
