Phil. It might be a good idea to invite potential buyer's or poor people
to arrange a courier to call at your house, or wherever to still purchase, you only have to stand at the door and hand over a package. Stll, you are a very kind man and there's a place waiting for you up there and maybe the bike of your dreams and because it's a dream and not a nightmare, it will never need petrol, servicing tax insurance and more nonsense, it will be yours forever.
That "Make Love Not War" generation (just before my time and I joined the army age 17 ) should become now, again. I wish I had been born a few years earlier and enjoyed the Mods and Rockers era. I am a biker and don't ride scooters. I do like the Mods music though and have still got Ben Sherman in my locker.
I would be a biker but still have a cup of tea with a lad on a scooter. Enjoy the Mods and the Rockers and stay neutral, lets face it we are both dogging potholes, lunatics, weather and poor driving by others. We are the same.
