I haven't, but I have used them on a heavier fully loaded tourer and it ate the tyres for breakfast. I was on a 4000 mile trip and they just about got me home. Not only were they worn out but completely out of shape. Nasty.
If you're keeping with road tyres go for T31's or 32's which I found gave considerable extra mileage and didn't fall apart.
I'm running A41's for road use, two up and loaded and so far they seem a very competent tyre. After about 2000 miles there's no discernable wear.

As Upt North says,T31 or T32s are great road tyres and last well too,9,5k miles on my CB500X.
Too early to tell for sure as I'm only 1k miles into a set of A41's on the DL650,which were fitted new when I bought the bike, they're behaving themselves very well indeed upto now though.
I have Michelin PR6 on the NT700 Deauville, great tyres that seem to be made for that bike, their comfort and wet weather performance is great but mileage is slightly down at 7k miles on the Bridgestones.

Trying to keep an open mind

The biggest majority of my/our riding is done two up, a lot of that with luggage.
I got 10,000 plus out of two pairs of Anakee 3's then I swapped them for BT023's I got just 6000 miles out of those.
I then fitted Battlax A41's & I am just about to change them with 10,200 on them! A good tyre for me, they do everything I can ask from them (not much some would say  :smirk:) BUT I am going to fit Continental Trail Attack 3's this time.  :)

B.M.
How did the 23's behave on the STrom besides wearing out too quickly.
On the Pan they resembled a blind cobblers thumb.
Why move to Attacks this time, just curious.

I had two sets of bt023 on my 1100gs they were great, lasted fine and gripped well wet or dry. Only changed to T30's because they were on promotion.

Used to have them on my FJR, great grip, decent mileage, about 7000 miles.
They did scallop a bit towards the end of their life but that was probably to do with the weight and front end bias of the big Yam.

Be interested to know how long they have been on the shelf, don't they have been made for a while.

Upt North, they were a good tyre, gripped well wet or dry but they just wore out too quickly. The edges of the tread also started to form a 'lip', my tyre man said it was because the pressure was too low, despite me running them at 40psi, the pressure he recommended!!  He wouldn't give mw a discount on the A41's either when I said it was his fault!  :GRR:
The only reason I'm changing to the TA 3's is I've heard good reports about them. We'll wait & see.  :icon_wink:

I'm running BT023s on the Strom and the FJR. I'm getting over 8k on the Strom rear. Running at 36/42. I do only ride solo
Only got a few k on the FJR so too early to tell

I've had two sets of BT023's on my 650 XT,  must say I  really like them good grip in all conditions. However I reckon the sidewall compound is a little too soft as by about 4,000miles there is a marked step from the centre to the edges, but I don't find it's a huge problem when riding.
I reckon I could almost do two rears to a front on these. My other preference is for A41's and get around 7,000 miles from a pair. Here's my current BT023 rear with just shy of 4,000miles on it.
Mostly A / B road riding solo, but some of my local roads are very abrasive.

I had a couple of 023’s delivered a few days ago to replace my current tyres A41T’s.I will never use the A41T again as they are MEGA noisy,at motorway speeds they are really “whining loudly”.
I have had 023’s the last twice before these A41T’s and the 41T’s were recommended by my local tyre man, possibly because they were so expensive I am thinking. So I gave them a try, first run on a motorway was a run to Scotland, and they were so noisy I was concerned that it might have been the front wheel bearings gone, but listening closely the noise changes subtly on different surfaces. There should be enough tread left to do another run to Scotland this spring and then they will be changed.
