I changed up 1 size on my cbr600 rear it didn't seem to make that much difference was suppose to lay over a bit quicker but as I did mostly motorway/a roads it didn't show  was a bit close to the mudguard and they were free so I was going to make the most of it  :thumb:

some people put bigger/small tyres on to make their bikes turn faster/slow , some for show , as the the tyre heats up it gets bigger hence catching huggers swing arm etc and the big one the wheel not been wide enuff to take the bigger tyre and it mushrooms the tyre on the rim , I would think you could get a 160 on find out how wide the rim is and see if anything with the same size rim has the bigger tyre fitted

Check out the Hagon website www.hagon-shocks.co.uk - they have a tyre size guide in the wheelbuilding section of permissible size tyres for a given rim size. Most informative, you'll be amazed at what you can get away with  :thumb:
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'
