Went to have a poke around at the church in Volcanic Browns vid.
It is indeed in the middle of nowhere,a lovely spot.
When setting the Beeline to take me there as I entered St Marys it brought up another church that was on that road from Saturdays early run so I set that up too and the "fast" run from one to the other looked interesting so I tried that.
Glad I did ,the ride between  churches was great it had a bit of everything ,fast and flowing, tight and nadgery, a well slippy ford ,Armed Cops........(I went past Sandringham, not sure if Charlie was in. I thought of stopping and taking a pic of the cops but they get a bit angsty about that :icon_wink:) and mostly no idea where I was .......perfect.
200 miles in 5 and a half hours is not quick, more a reflection of the type of road it was.

I am going this year as part of a bigger trip. Booked ferry from Genoa to Bastia in Corsica on Moby Lines. An 11am departure sees you arrive there at 18.30. I paid £85.76 for bike and two persons one way.

Rode to the breakfast club at Goodwood. Lovely ride there, but place rammed so couldn’t get a full english from the cafe. Helped out a bloke with a soft from tyre as I carry a compressor, but parked my bike up with parking lights on, so needed a bump start to get it going. Battery was replaced in 2018 before big trip, so although it tests OK this is not the first instance of issues, so new battery ordered from M&P

I binned the standart Triumph lights as they were quite pathetic, very poor amount of light and a crappy beam. And you had to remember to switch them back on everytime you turned the bike off, very frustrating I can tell you. So I sold them on eBay and bought a pair of these Britalitez 10w work lights. They have a very wide spread of light and are nice & bright - but not too bright. I have them wired to an ignition live (and a switch) so they are on all the time. Very happy with the quality for the price. Link to the eBay item -

V-Strom specific discussion / Re: DL1000 AL8 ABS INCIDENCE
« Last post by Banditbilbo on Today at 11:13:52 »
Hello.

After work done the saturday, on Sunday I tested the bike for about 300km. With several starts and stops.

No ABS fault appeared again.

I have yet to test the test connector of the ABS module, as the colleague in the previous message comments.

I don't know if disconnecting and cleaning all the ABS circuit connectors, sensors,  including the module connector, may have resolved anything.

Honestly, I have my doubts. There is a probability of ABS module "reset" when disconnect battery and ABS  module main connector???

It's the only option I can think of, apart from cleaning contacts.

Any news will be reported to you.

Thank you very much for your interest.
