Trekking Across Europe - This was somewhere towards Barbezieux in the South of France (Bordeaux kind of ish!)

The hand pic is cool in a cringeworthy way..but...  that look suspiciously like a helicopter copper job to me, lucky begger, what made you give that up? Way better than a 9-5 in an office surely!?!?!?

Officially neither, but on that day and a few others I played with the big lamp, the camera and the radio. I spent time with other departments... majority of the time was traffic, the Helicopter was a real luxury but I got to know the crew quite well so managed about 40 sorties in a 2.5 yr career :) Was great fun.......

I was 12.5 years in the RAF and managed to blag plenty of sorties in all types of aircraft, even managed a few flying lessons.
