The grass isn't greener
« on: March 21, 2018, 08:53:05 »
I have been searching the tinternet for information about the TDM that has been adopted into the Brockett garage. There is a forum but nothing like this. Which means I'll be back to using my 'common sense' and you know what that means. It won't be long before I compose another chapter of "The tales of Calamity Dave".

I was looking for a wire to tap into to feed a switched relay . I have now got a CD containing a PDF of the Service manual and have identified a brown wire as the brake switch feed and I have tapped into that.
As for the TDM forum it seems to be sparsely populated with almost no community derived information such can be found on here about the Strom. I am not enthused by the dire layout and thin content the fact that many 'recent' posts date back to 2006. And finally, the teasing request for cash in order to have "extra content" become available. It's not the money as much as not wanting to "pay for a pig in a poke".

To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

Yes that one but well.... your link takes me to a place I cannot find anywhere else ( ooooh er misses) . Usually when I log on to it I seem to be  confined into something very much smaller.
So thanks for this.

The only TDM owner / mechanic I know of is Graham Flint who runs The Round Britain Rally.  http://www.roundbritainrally.co.uk/about.htm If he's still with us as he was quite poorly last year.
