Arai Quantum-ST Pro for long oval heads

As my introduction thread noted, I have a ginormous skull. The only previous helmet I've been able to get on is an HJC 5XL despite the head measurement being nominally in the 3XL range. The new Arai Quantum-ST is apparently designed for the really long, long oval head type. And it comes in a 3XL version. I just got one and it fits! Sort of. The liner is too small but I can make an alternative. The shell and styrofoam are fine and it's a much nicer helmet than the HJC.

Great. I need a new 3XL and am looking at a Nolan N104 Evo at the moment. So something else to try is good news.

+1 for the Quantum St, I've got one in 2XL. A 'proper' measurement of my napper is 64cm & this fits a treat. It has more room around the chin than the Axcess 2 it replaced & accommodates the mic & earphones on my Sena SMH10 so that you don't even notice its there.

Quick follow up: I took my 3XL Quantum-ST to "Motorcycle Live" in Birmingham for fitting assistance direct from the Arai techs. A very nice Japanese man whose name I forgot to get spent about 40 minutes with me and the end result is fantastic.

I've got similar problems with head shape and went for the Nolan N104 Evo - Fits great.
