Aldi Base Layer
« on: May 22, 2014, 14:01:32 »
As well as the waterproof bag, Aldi are selling base layers and underpants. They are advertised as being 'Bamboo'. Now my first thought was they would be a bit difficult to move in, but no, they are anti-bacterial, hypoallergenic, soft and comfortable. Didn't get the pants as they didn't have my size, (fat arse, fat arse), but the top is great.
Also got a self inflating pillow which seems pretty good.
It's better to regret something you've done, than something you haven't done.

Picked up a couple of the dry bags today. Good value for £10 each.
I look quick therefore I am.

Got new drybag packed up ready for a 5.30 am start to a week rattling round France with some mates. I have hard luggage but you can never have too much storage, and as I'm solo this time I can put a little more weight over the backseat instead of hanging off the sides.

Alarm set for 5. Then brew, fit panniers, put on riding kit, set MP3 to 'Rock Anthems' and off I go :)
