Stromtrooper has Vee, Wee and Glee sections. It's a bit helpful there because the posts don't have the bike type owned by the poster appearing in the post. Here and VSRI have the bike owned appearing as long as the member puts it in their user control panel. If people think a section for bike type to appear would be a good idea, all three major types would need to have a section. In my experience though, members don't understand that the sections are set up for discussion on a particular type and create posts that apply to all types just because they happen to own one particular model.

I'd not be in favour as from my point of view, on here part of the joy is the mix.

Perhaps if there were very very many technical differences there could be a techy offshoot, but in the meantime I'd not want horizons narrowed in this way.

But we are nothing if not democratic here, so if there's a groundswell of opinion for it, we could ask our Great Leader what He would do (but be aware you may need to be assigned some 'behaviour modification therapy' if His Dictatorness so chooses.

So far having the old Vee (K2-3), the old Wee (K5-K6), the newer Vee (K4+), the newer old Wee (K7-L1) and the Glee all mixed up seems to work well. Having separate sections for separate models could inadvertently end up splitting the 'community' in subgroups. The only separate section we have is for the new Vee, no one owns one like that and won't own one for a while so that's basically a way to keep up with all the new news about it as it gets released.

you have a whole forum dedicated to V stroms, stop being picky next you'll be wanting to ban VEEs & WEEs

and have seperate boards for colours
