Tapatalk issue?
« on: September 25, 2012, 09:52:46 »
Anyone else experiencing an issue using Tapatalk (iPhone or iPad) where the 'participated' button either crashes the app or just says there aren't any threads to view?

It seems fine on another forum I've been frequenting.

Just tried it on my iPad & iPhone and yes its not working on the 'participated' button.
I don't use this button much so didn't notice this.
Must say that although I like & use Tapatalk, it does tend to crash rather a lot!
& they are always doing updates for it. ( some of which make it crash more).

At least it's not just me. Not sure if its since I upgraded to ios6 - no way of really checking. Wouldn't be the first app to start getting issues after the upgraded software.

The sky app which is usually excellent is now redundant since the os update. Shame!

And don't get me started on the lack of street view on maps as well as Youtube's departure...

Its not ios6 as I'm still running ios5.1.1.
Think its most likely Tapatalk. I'd wait for an update, they do them frequently. It'll probably sort it.

Yeah, 'participated' sends Tapa mental for me too, I'm still running iOS4.something on an old 3G.. I stopped updating it ages ago when I realised the updates were optimised for the iPhone 4 and were steadily making my 3G slow to a halt..
