Stormin the Castle
« on: September 02, 2018, 20:15:23 »
Only two other V Stroms spotted at Stormin this weekend. One by the entrance to field 3, a yellow 1000, the other by the toilets in field 2, a black 1000 ????

I was there, I have a yellow 1000 - 18 reg, I saw a 14 plate red one and another yellow one all on the top field, cracking weekend and amazingly good weather.

Excellent, I didn't go wandering into the top field (Field 1 ?) It was a cracking weekend helped by the fantastic weather. I enjoyed arriving on the V and pitching up amidst the hundreds of shiny cruisers  :lala:

I was there too although I went up from Kent on the Crosstourer.  My mate was with me though in field 1 on his Glee 650.

We had a cracking ride up the day before through the Dales, stayed overnight in a BnB and then up over the Buttertubs pass on the way to the rally.

Stormin's a great rally.

The Yorkshire Dales is our favourite place to ride as the roads are so quiet and perfect for twisty fun. We regularly pitch up at Usha Gap campsite which is just past Buttertubs Pass as you turn right into Swaledale

Riding up from Kent is a good hike. Kudos for the dedication  :thumb:
