Hogg All Weather boots and gearshift
« on: June 28, 2011, 10:31:39 »
Just picked up my Hogg All Weather boots from Alt-Berg in N Yorkshire
Very comfy too

now their site does suggest you may have a problem with the gearshift lever and these boots

I would agree - the soles are very thick and I have had to do ballet moves to get my foot under the lever

So my mate came round last night and we moved the lever up - all is well again

Would definitely recommend the boots - great safety ratings and easy to walk in and very comfy

Yeah I had to twiddle my gearshift for my HG Rallye GTX boots. Does mean the shift is a tw@t on the odd occasion when I wear my Sidi boots...

You'll get used to it, I've had mine for 6 years and countless thousands of miles.  Have just started to let a small amount of water through in heavy rain, so will be going back to Altberg during the winter for an overhaul
