Couldn't edit previous post , so had to make another one to add this photo of the screen actually on the bike ...

If there's a better combination for tackling wind turbulence on a 650 V Strom than a Givi Airflow screen and a pair of these little mirrors, I have yet to hear of it  .

Hi! The thin vinyl letters have the adhesive on the back and so stick onto the outside of the screen. They are individual letters, which come correctly spaced on a sheet of clear vinyl and are quite easy to apply.

At 97p each, they are a complete bargain  :) ...

@Snapper where do you get these little mirrors? and what make please. :thumb:

I got them on ebay for £15. I now see that you can get them for half that price  ...

I think that the V Strom has 10mm, standard clockwise threads for both mirrors, but you should check that for yourself before ordering  :icon_wink: .

I also fitted mirror extenders (which cost more than the mirrors) to improve visibility and reduce turbulence still further ...

Again, cheaper ones are available from abroad, but you need to do your homework to get the right size/fittings  ...

Hope that helps.

My Givi Top Box plate finally arrived today  :dl_hyperhysteria: fitted that along with my Pannier Rails and gave the new Glee an ACF-50 dousing.

Another year, another MOT out of the way. Whew!  :thumb: Went to a new MOT tester this year and although I didn't expect any problems, that kind of thing always makes me a little nervous.

Ordered a new top box, 47L one - the missus likes the look of the Strom, so I need room for 2 crash helmets to be stored on days out :)

Finally got round to fitting the Aux fusebox, very easy to do as the connection point is easily accessible and the unit fitted neatly next to the existing fuse box/electrics.

Also fitted R&G heated grips using the Aux box to power them and a Delkevic can

Good lad. :thumb:

Let us know when you do the same to the gear lever. :stirpot:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I found a couple of Bikevis Bullets laying around in the Man Cave, I'd forgotten how good they were  :thumb:

Took it for Mot this morning, passed of course. 7,000 miles since last one, 13,000 since I bought it in August 2015.
