Hello its me again
« on: March 18, 2024, 17:10:23 »
Hi not a new member just an old one returning, I was told I had dropped out of the top ten posters so I need to rectify that  :lala:
For those of you who don't know me, I used to be a pillion princess on my hubby's  strom. I don't ride at all, managed to put the bike down and in a hedge twice on my CBT, decided at that point it was safer for everyone if I stayed a pillion. I wasn't very good at that either  :dl_hyperhysteria: Any way my my hubby passed away last year and I  will be selling his beloved V Strom soon, so I'm on here seeing what's what in the V Strom world and trying to learn a bit before it's listed cus apparantly it's a big black one doesn't command the best price :yukk:
Life isn't about waiting for the strom to pass.... it's about learning to dance in the rain

:wb: Catballou.  You were one of the first to put up a welcome post for me when I arrived here in 2011. I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope you can get the bike sorted out and gone although that must be a tough task. Best regards.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Catballou. I would guess that if you post your location, as in nearest town or city, someone who lives near you may be able and willing to help with the sale of the motorcycle and make sure that you get a good price.  :thumb:

I remember reading about your loss which we were all sorry to hear. Hope you're doing as well as you can be.

Am sure we can all help you list the bike here and ensure you get a fair price.

I was sorry to hear about your husband, Fat Rat informed the forum at the time. Hope you get a realistic price for the bike, there's a certain bloke in West Wales who has a penchant for original stroms.

Incidentally "it's a big black one" commands pretty good prices in some corners of the interweb. So I've been told.
