New restoration breathes again....
« on: July 02, 2010, 09:57:27 »
I hope I have loaded this correctly but, if anyone is interested, I have got the 1959 Series 1 Li 125 Lambtretta running and should be finished ready for its fist MOT at the weekend... I know it's not as good as my Vee but bloody good fun building it....

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to Skid in Sidways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Here I am --- What a Ride!"

That is such a wonderful and emotional and pride inducing moment. It lives! It's like childbirth (but more painful)

Well done that man!

p.s. you need to get out in the sun a bit more, even my skinny legs are not as white as yours ;)
