"Best roads I ever ridden!!"
Can't argue with that! Lucky enough to live 50 miles from there with some great roads to get there and back.  :thumb:

Shhhh, don't tell everyone! They'll all want a go now!
Glad you enjoyed it. There's lots more like that up this end of the country. Plus fish and chips too...

28 miles from me,  I go over Holme Moss to get there. Some of the supersports bike loonies can scare the crap out of you, and have resulted in increased unmarked police patrols. Good riding roads. ( Not as good as Yorkshire, obviously)

I'm with Rusty. I suppose I'm a bit biased the Snake used to be good in the olden days before double white lines, 50 mph blanket limits and dashcams... :old:

Yorkshire is were tha' wants be lad. :thumb:

Loved watching that, I have only rode the pass once some 12 years Ago my wife and I were on holiday up there and my memory was the bike kept bottoming out so I left my wife in one of the lay-bys and rode it both ways then come back for her ( I don’t know how I got away with that one And we are still married ) the bike was a Yamaha Xjr 1300  :thumb:

lol I'd have been divorced if I did that... I might do it one day  lol

I went over Snake Pass today - still a nice road even at 50mph and fairly quiet too, though the heavy snow shower I got caught in wasn't so nice.

If you turn off the snake pass and head for Midhopestones that's a good road too.

I think you're referring to The Strines, that IS a brilliant road around these parts. From the Ladybower end you need to count the blind crests after the turn off to Low Bradfield, you can take the 1st four flat out, the fifth one has a blind downhill 90 right with a drystone wall where the road should be...

Or is it the 1st three and the fourth has the 90 right....
