Vee 2002 Screen $*%&^ up
« on: August 09, 2015, 13:48:52 »
Arrgh

I went to the Givi website, picked out my model DL-1000 2002, picked a screen AF-260
Bought the screen

Went to fit it....

Hmm, Am I missing a bracket?

Went back to the site and notice the small print.
AF-260 not siutable for 2002 models.

So, question. Do I Sell the screen and take the loss, or is there a way to fir the screen brackets from the 2004 models onto the 2002 bike.

Any help?

Chris

Sorry Chris, as far as I know there is no way to retro fit.

Converting the bike is a massive job. Kevshek did it, see HERE for how he did it.

Best bet would be to sell the screen to a K2/K3 rider and buy another.

If it's not damaged etc you might be able to return it under the distance selling regulations.
