A bit of concrete
« on: November 10, 2017, 14:29:42 »
Not the best picture given the weather and the fact the ground is still recovering from my Digger being in there but.......

A couple of weekends ago I finally got around to adding some hard-standing for bikes in the Camping field. Not big enough for something on the scale of the August meet but it is good for ten bikes  :thumb:

@Kwackboy, the trick with a fully laden road bike will be to come in the field entrance from the road and then pin the throttle so that you are doing at least 70mph, that way you are guaranteed to make it to the top of the field where the new parking is

We will be filming

Just noticed the strategically placed bench for size comparison purposes. You could land an A380 on there.

TLP would need 2 litres to get from one end to the other.

TLP would need one of his tankers to refuel halfway down.

I don't know what you mean. Dragonlady is sure to like it when she returns from her visit to her long lost relative in South America.

Not sure when she will be back.

I will have a special set of MT60 RS tyres fitted in order to make it to the top of the field.
The main problem with them is they would be bald before I made it to Wales .  :bawl:

None taken.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

You might not have the ideal climate Fat Rat but your ultimate goal must be this:

https://www.camping-rendezvous-moto.com/accueil_en.php?lang=en

We've been there a couple of times............ We are on photos 37 and 43......   :sunny:   :lala:   :thumb:

Just a swimming pool, bar, restaurant to construct.
Better get the Dragon Lady sorting out the soft furnishings........

Anyway, what chance of a roof over the bike parking bay and if you put the bench in the middle so everyone can padlock/chain their bikes to it..........
So how's it going so far then?

Pfft, swimming pools and the like, we cater for hardened biker types  :smirk:

A roof? It's not like it rains often.

Something to chain the bikes to? Why, the last bit of crime in this area involved the scrumping of some fruit back in 1980.
