Have a look at the finish before you fit it, you may want to give it a coat or two of something

Also I think somebody mentioned they corrode from the inside out so maybe a bit of something in there too

I'm pretty sure it won't. It bolts onto the bottom of the engine gearbox which I think would be different....

no, you should have said could have pooped in there, sure they would have sold it as we see them quite regularly
