Title: First bit of green laning
Post by: tdsmithuk on April 14, 2017, 21:31:18
Went along the Shaftesbury to Salisbury lane today, along the spine of the long hill. First time green laning and loved it. The bike is indeed a brute to move around, being so heavy, but it handled the potholes and 'whoops'-type sections admirably. Great stuff!

Ha! Came close a few times! I do some mountain biking so thought it'd be much the same, with body positioning and that, but hadn't considered wheel spins and stuff. I dropped it once but never went with it, thankfully.
It was lovely and dry except for one spot which had long muddy sections. Came home just dirty enough to look like I'd been off road!
