Wow! I wasn't expecting that....

Does amaze me though why people stand in the outside lane of a motorway to inspect crash damage...?? (I saw that near Manchester the other week - people seem to loose all common sense when they have a bump).

Plenty of questions over that but I won't start, far too many at fault.........
So how's it going so far then?

"Wasn't expecting just three seconds" is what your Wife actually says.

I fell asleep watching the 1st sheep, there were more? :old:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

And the lesson must be:- don't stop on the carriageway unless you have to and get to a place of safety, or a safer place, as soon as you can.
This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

Only a matter of time before something like this happens on the occasionally hard shoulder of our "smart" motorways. Nowhere to go when you break down, following traffic doesn't expect stationary traffic, people standing around like human skittles instead of getting behind barriers and up the banking (if there is one).
