Loggamatt, in lusting after bigger engined bikes with more gadgets in the belief that this makes them better, makes SimonW say...

"Better" is a big generalisation and means different things to different people. The BMW is "better" because it has electronic fly-by-wire, bluetooth integrated, multi-mode ball warmers. The new DL1000 is "better" because it doesn't, so they can't go wrong. And so on...

EDIT: And if that doesn't get me a place in the quotes museum I want a refund.
