tourance "next"
« on: April 02, 2013, 18:39:51 »
just had a pair of the new tourance tyres fitted ..trourance next ...the pair was fitted onto loose wheels with new valves & balanced for £185 ..went to bike tyres leeds at scoles just off M1 jnc 46 and I have to say that I have never seen anyone take as much care in changing my tyres and you can stand there and watch while there done ... I have no conections with them, its just nice to have a bit of good service for a change.....

That's a great price, I'm struggling to get them down to that price delivered, let alone fitted..

well just an update on these new tourance tyres .... I've done a couple of hundred miles on them now and the back seems fine ..but.. the front feels very "soft" and seems to move about a bit ..checked tyre pressures several time so that's not an issue ..but ..they do appear to have a very soft tyre wall compaired to  the early tourance .. so that may be it ? .  they work fine when the bikes is thrown over on its side,  so no problem with grip....going on a good run at the end of this month on it so will report back on this one ...

Just fitted the "Next Variant" today on my Versys 1000, they look the dogs and by all accounts and tests are the top of the pile. The bike is by the way and the new 1000 V Strom will have to be some bike to better it as the engine on Kwak is sensational as is the rest of it.

My guess is they will be great on the Glee.
