After waiting nearly a week for HPS to get stock of the vario screen in, rang them today to confirm they had them.

Great they had !

Not wanting to wait for the postie, I set out at 11.00 am. Traffic & weather were lousy.

After a 5.5 hour, 200+ mile round trip to collect it, gets home, straight to the garage to take the stock screen off. Job done, opened the MRA wrapper, only to find they'd given me a K2 screen instead of a K4>.

One is not a happy bunny

Will wait till tomorrow when I have "possibly" calmed down, to ring them

I'm in Widnes, Cheshire and have a K6 1000 Grand Tourer. Here's a few pics of a tour I took it on back in 2007.

Was living on the Isle of Man at the time. 2500 miles in 2 weeks. Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, through the Alps to Lake Como in Italy then to Lake Garda then back through Germany to Amsterdam. Bike took the entire journey in its stride.

Well............. finally fitted the VRA screen a few days ago and have been on a few trips out.

I opted for the 20" screen and I'm 5'10"

On the first trip out, down to Llangollen, when I stopped at the Ponderossa for a brew, I was surprised to find that something was missing.

It was the invisible pillion that I'd carried on previous trips out, who constantly "Bitch-Slapped" my head !!

I'd say it's about an 85% improvement, so I'm going to play around with altering the mirrors to see if further improvements can be achieved.

Overall it's currently the best bit of kit you can stick on your Strom to improve the experience.

Hoping to have a trip to Poland in the next few months so will give an update as and when.

Varadero boys have a trip to Poland in Sept or Oct, it's 80 euro's for the whole weekend thing and includes all you can drink.
I know Big Dave fancies it, might be worth you investigating.
