I appreciate this was 1964 but did they not realise that the sound of the bike they were playing was nothing like the bike he was sitting on..?

They still dub over the sound of bikes in today's movies, drama's and advertising . What's wrong with a the real sound of the bike they are on ?

Back then I liked the Shang-gri-las. Although that song was always bit crap. Not their fault the TV show idiots made fun of it with that silly bike and the motorcycle bloke.
Arlo Guthrie was always worth a watch so thanks for that one Hugo.
So the challenge is there .... who knows a decent song about motorcycles?

Try this for old bike stuff. Not into uTube that much but it’s worth a listen.About 50 tracks plus a few adverts of course.

For some reason only one track comes up. ????

I toyed with the idea of putting Jasper Carrot's Funky Moped on here but soon changed my mind when I heard it again lol

First time I've heard this version , Richard Thompson song
