Just been along to Aldi this morning and bought boots @ £29.99 and gloves @ £19.99 of course only time will tell but my initial reaction is that they seem to be superb value for money. I tried the jacket and it to seemed excellent value but not for me as I found the jacket cuffs too hard and therefore uncomfortable on the wrist, shame. I was first person into the store @ 10' this morning (Newark) and there was only one pair of size 8's in the bin the rest were all 10's & 11's so it would seem that stock is somewhat limited.

I got a couple of pairs of the long socks. I also picked up a compression tee shirt and set off to the till, looked at the tee shirt and thought "who am I trying to kid?!" and put it back! No way was my tubby bod going to fit in that thing!
Socks look good and they even have L and R so you know which boot to put on which foot!

Four months in and the gloves are still very good but unfortunatly the boots have not performed as well. I have just returned them for a refund as they had begun to leak and the velcro was detaching from one boot. Bought a pair of Merlin Aragon's 3 X's the price so lets hope they are 3 X's as good.

Funny about the boots. I've had them for over 2 years and they are still great, dry, and very comfortable and very wam. The velcro is still as new. My only problem is the sliders needed tightening, not that I use sliders anyway.
