Very clean DL1000 in Black & Grey
« on: November 26, 2011, 16:36:57 »
I spotted a lovely clean & tidy Black & Grey 2007 57 plate, DL1000 in my local dealers today. It's on the internerd (http://www.ianbellmotorcycles.com) for £4,995, but it's been reduced to £4,700. Knowing Ian there is still room to negotiate ! I can't stress how tidy and clean this is, a proper minter. Looks completely standard and comes with full Suzuki luggage too, so I guess it's a GT.  :thumb:

just sold my bike there today, and was thinking about a vee. have a budget of 4k, ideally would love a 950/990 adventure but outta my budget. the only thing about the bike is the fact that it has had 3 owners and only 6k miles on it....prob just me being over cautious, does have a fsh. in sayin that, that would only include the 600 mile service anf the 4000mile service.

I wouldn't worry too much about the low miles, he sells some clean bikes there...look at some of his others, there's a a couple of Suzuki sv s about 5 years old, one with only 2+ thou on, the other with 500+ miles on it (now that I would ask questions about!). Lots of people these days get a bike for summer, a couple thousand miles and sell it this time of year...Ring him up, ask the history?

I actually bought my Vee from Ian, he's a top bloke and realises his buisiness is only working due to retun custom. You never know, a bid of £4 k for cash might secure an immaculate Vee !

The number of owners may not be such an issue.

I know from my experience that the Vee isn't for everyone. I upgraded from a Wee in 2006 and sold the Vee on about 2 months later.

Now back on a Wee after a few years, but loving it.
