My Glee on the track
« on: October 15, 2013, 21:57:23 »
Got the opportunity to run the Glee around the Darley Moor race track yesterday, it was a lot of fun, sadly though after all the rain on Sunday and the continued downpours on Monday, the track was absolutely saturated with a lot of standing water, so I had to be very cautious.

As I was also being professionally filmed for a promotional video, I had to show my bike as being a touring motorcycle, so I went round the track (many, many times over the whole day) with my full set of Trekker luggage attached, if you watch the clip, you'll spot them a couple of times in the mirrors.

I am pleased to report that despite having all the luggage on and a lardy rider, when three of us were out playing the Glee kicked the arse of a Triumph Tiger 955i - I managed to overtake him every single time we went out!!

I'll post up the full professional video (as long as its not too embarrassing), as soon as the film people have finished editing in a week or so.
