Southbound to Africa…
« on: November 15, 2023, 20:17:04 »
Hello all you cuddly Strommers…

I’ve been neglectful of late but the past few months have been a blur with trying to finish work and in putting the last bits of planning and research into place for my trip.

I left the UK three and a half weeks ago, getting the ferry from Portsmouth to Santander. While heading south I broke my ankle so had to rest up for three weeks but as soon as I could put weight on it I popped over to Morocco. At the moment I’m about 20 miles west of the Algerian border and tomorrow I’m heading south and then south west. Eventually I want to get to Senegal, and then maybe Sierra Leone and Liberia - but that depends on the roads, or lack of them…

Anyway, I’ve been doing a bit of video along the way so if you can’t sleep then you could have a look at my YouTube stuff, here’s a link…

Have been following you for a bit now and subscribed.
Good to hear the ankle is on the mend, mine took longer than that.
