Two years old
« on: November 28, 2022, 17:52:28 »
Incredibly, I've had the 1200 Tiger for two years today. That may not sound long to some people but in my world that's almost a lifetime. Allowing for the fact winter's here, it should be safe until April at the very earliest. Could this be the bike to break my record duration of bike ownership of 3 1/4 years currently held by my former Moto Guzzi Stelvio ? Watch this space and happy birthday Tigger

Happy Birthday Twenty One Twelve.
I had my Pan just over 8 years and around 30,000 miles, still kind of missing it. I think my longest motorcycle ownership was a 1978 Honda CB750 sohc F2. It must have been at least 15 years. Although it was shown more than ridden.
I think it's time to post a picture.

18 years for the Silver Framed Machine.

I'm not keen on depreciation.

Depreciation? Not really an issue when you keep one for 43 years & counting...

Well done 2112 , I think the longest I've kept a bike is around 4 years.
During any ownership though, I've always flirted with other bikes, can't help it ..  :shy:

Happy birthday Tigger.
At just over 3 years, the Vee is still the shortest I've ever had any vehicle other than my post CBT 125. I can see it sticking around for a fair while yet though, I get easily attached to machinery.

Take it here, they're in London,  E3

They get most bikes through the ulez test , my 22 year old CB500 passed the test ..  :thumb:
