Good economy - for a 1200
« on: October 30, 2022, 13:08:16 »
I was farting about in the garage today setting various clocks (2 x cars & a garage clock) to British winter time and thought I need to set the tiggers clock. While messing around I realised I hadn't reset either trip for over 2,000 miles. Those 2,000 miles included a trip to Bourg-en-Bresse in France so a mixture of motorway, side roads and larking about in Northumberland and the Scottish borders. The average MPG over those miles was 53.1, that's very impressive from a heavy 1200, with a heavy rider with a penchant for heavy throttle use. Genuinely surprised by that. The other blank MPG figure in the picture is the instantaneous one which isn't a lot of use to be honest.
It's pronounced 'twenty-one-twelve'
