Tank bag recommendations
« on: May 29, 2023, 16:27:35 »
Afternoon folks,
Any recommendations for a small(ish), 5-10 litre tank bag. Not used one before.
Was looking at the SW Motech daybag with fuel cap attachment thingy. Quite like the idea of easy on / off, no straps or magnets.
With the bag & adaptor, you're looking at approx £140, so though I'd enquire first.
Any tank bag wisdom, pro's / cons much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Steve

I have a Givi tanklock system. Really easy.

There is a Givi tank lock fitting for sale in the "For sale" section. £7:00 then you just need the bag. I'm not the seller and it may not be for your bike but worth a look.

The tankbag ring has two sections, to retain a tankbag in place. The base or lower ring, that is bolted to the tank and the upper ring that is fitted to the tankbag. Make sure that you receive both the male and female / top and bottom tankbag rings as a set or the tankbag will not lock into place.

Went with the SW Motech Pro Daypack

So far so good, easy to fit, big enough without expanding.

Recommended.
