Greetings / Sawubona
« on: September 27, 2013, 20:30:39 »
Hi all,

Been lurking here for a bit while I've had a V-STROM GT (fully blinged) on order at Saltire in Edinburgh (where I'm at). Originally from far warmer climes, so 2 wheels here is going to be 'interesting'.  Fortunately the Saltire special includes heated grips  :)

Been an age since I've been on a bike - far too long - main reason being family (what else) but the mid-life crisis is here now so what the heck. It'll distract me from the endless mods on my trusty Land Cruiser

Hopefully pick it up on Monday, but have the use of another on an 'extended test ride' till then - great folk, those Saltire blokes - what a pleasure they've made the whole process, as we've has to get ALL the protective gear too - not cheap

So - hello, and looking forward to exploring some interesting parts of the country, and hope to catch up with a few of you on a ride as soon as the confidence levels are back to where they were when I used to blast around on my GPz1100 (yes, it's been a loooong time   )

Cheers

Gary

A bit belated, but  :welcome:

I was up at Saltires a couple weeks ago, what canny people! Nearly sold me a VanVan!
