Hi I am a new member and a new owner of a new v strom 650 .I have always had sports bikes untill August this year when I purchased my new v strom and I must say I have been pleasantly surprised. I love the upright postion now not all bent over the riding postion is great loves to go into corners quickly what else do you need. Next year already planned a trip to southern spain can't wait going to purchase a vario screen at the end of this week will need a tank bag any ideas??? Also would like a pair of fog/driving lights???

Answer = Nothing

Stick your location in your profile. There are a few members in Suffolk and it will help with rideouts and getting support from the locals.

Hi Steve. Like you, I am also new to this forum and in Suffolk (Bury St Edmunds area). I am also a previous sport bike bloke who transitioned to a 'Strom I bought in April. We should hook up for a ride/pint!!

As for the pannier bags, the OEM boxes are made for Suzuki by Trax. I have seen some 'inner bags" for sale for the Trax boxes at TwistedThrottle.com. I have been thinking of ordering some for mine.

I have done some mods to my bike including new screen, seat, bars, grips, mirrors, removed vibrating OEM crash bars and put on SV Racing frame sliders. If you wanted to meet up and try the seat/bars, etc, then just let me know.

Norfolk here- pretty new to this too. There are several East Anglians on the site so a local meet is definitely possible sometime.
