Great Bike
« on: August 12, 2018, 01:16:17 »
:happydance: My user name is stromer: Happy to find this site. I purchased my 2015 DL650 in June 2018 and just returned from my first road trip 3 1/2 weeks gone from Pittsburgh, Pa. to Kentucky, across country to Washington, back across the top of the US to Mich and back down to Pittsburgh 6500 miles later back home not one single issue. What a sweet ride, I love this bike. Sold my DR 650 which I road across country twice on the TAT, was the best bike I had owned until I got this bike. Can't say enough great things about it. :lala: Next trip, this fall up into New England, into Canada and back home. Can't wait  :lala:

Welcome! Hope you managed to ride the Land between the Lakes road in Kentucky! Was on a trip a few years ago from Atlanta to Rapid City (three 500 mile days) and meant to ride through from south to north, but I was on such a tight timetable (very unusual for me) I missed the turn and by the time I noticed the next sign I was at the northern entrance with no time to go back! One day might make it back as see what I missed. Too old and damaged to do the TAT now, but that must be great. Enjoy.
You'll never find yourself flying down the road wishing you were wearing less protective clothing.
