Trailwings for my wee
« on: April 11, 2012, 12:30:07 »
I'm a couple of months off needing new tyres I am happy with the stock tyres ā€“ If anyone has done minimum mileage or taken them off straight away I would like to buy ā€“ Iā€™m near Peterborough but will cover posting ETC in not that close

Any help appreciated

Pat

I'm looking at getting another set of deathwings as per my original post - It will be a couple of months before I need to fit but am looking at buying now - if you have replaced your trailwings with something better and they are new or min mileage give me a shout I collected the last set I bought but will also obviously pay for posting as required.

Not tyres, Pat, sorry. But I am curious about your avatar. It's been bugging me for ages - is that Jonathan Frakes?

The right side bloke does look like Frakes in that shot - glad someone asked as it always made me wonder too.

Now we know...

I removed my wings after 2k rear, 3k front and intended to keep them for spares but a reasonable offer could see that change. Rear caught a nail and was plugged.

thanks for that Mr Nick but not looking to buy a plugged tyre and mileage too much even if not plugged- best of luck with your spares :-

No worries - rear would be a last resort for me as well but I know some people swear by plugs. Reality is they will lie in the garage until I get fed up moving them around...
