Title: TBR Exhausts Fitment Report
Post by: stonehenge on October 16, 2010, 06:29:17
Wow, I have just installed the Two Brothers Racing end cans that I bought from Harry (HarryV).  There are two very noticable things you get from this install:

1.  The utterly superb quality of the build
2.  The utterly loud quality of the sound

The quality of these cans need to be seen to be believed.  I have owned Akras before and Scorpions, both good cans but nothing compared with TBR, really.  The solidness, the ease of fitting, the unique method of using clamps all make for a lovely finish.  I remember putting Scorpions on a Strom and it being a right faf to get the bloody things lined up.  Not so the TBR.  Akras are lovely cans, but the fitting and link pipes are nothing to write home about.  I have seen yoshi's and the finish falls off after a while and the cheapees (Art, Beowolf etc) are just that.

So happy chappy with regard to fit and finish.

Then start the bike up and..............blumming heck these are loud.  Laugh out loud ....... erm loud.  Will easily get pulled by the rossers with these me thinks.........so I will invest in their baffles to shut them up nicely.  Youtube shows vids of folk fitting and liking the baffles, so will get a couple.  They also look great quality.

Will report again when baffles fitted.

So, TBR exhausts, Highly recommended!   :lala:

OK bought and fitted the baffles.  The magnesium end plates come off easily and fitting of the baffles straight forward.  The sound is muted and with a gentle throttle quite quiet.  They still give a throaty roar when you give a fistful of throttle, so best of both worlds I guess!
