Here's me on my Strom last Sunday - I was on top of the Grim North Yorkshire Moors near Castleton

Not wanting to split hairs, but Castleton is in the Derbyshire Peak District  :shy:

comments here reminded me of something someone said  in a bike mag...   they thought it would be a great idea to use LPG for a bike as it would be lighter than petrol....
Which of course it is, cos it's about 80% as dense :-)  - I reckon you'd save about 4kg with the Strom's 22 litre tank (still a stupid idea though as LPG has a lower energy density than petrol so you'd have to fill up more often unless you made the tank bigger   )

Anyway, enough pedantry  - here's me:

Bloody Fantastic if a little nippy - Up there with the sheep and heather it feels like your riding on top of the world. Great scenery
So was it heather taking the picture then?

This is me and my mate Jezer with his Bandit touring last year..

This is The Stromster loaded up for the run home through Spain and France....

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to Skid in Sidways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "Here I am --- What a Ride!"
