Madstad Brackets
« on: October 18, 2009, 16:58:53 »
Mark at Cymarc Engineering is looking at making a variation of the Madstad. We all know these are an essential add on to the V Strom and probably alot of us already have them.

Anyone who doesn't have one and would be interested please post here or contact Mark directly  :thumb:

Hi Mark in Canada, how you doing? good images of your bling by the way.

Anyway, I am going to try and do a MadStad but cheaper and out of more expensive material I.e. stainless. As I said to Andy, I don't do cheap only very good quality stuff at fair prices. I will hopefully keep everyone informed but my next project is some frame guards.

Can`t say much more at the moment because I drank like a tw*t last night  :-x

Drank the wine and it was good, actually. I thought that if it had `owt to do with you it would be like pish

Apparently the bracket is a generic fit (will fit both bikes to you, pencil dick) so you can shove your bike up your ring.

But anyway, if `owt comes of the brackets I`ll put one to one side for you  :thumb:

don't send any dosh mate. well, not yet, the frame protectors are ready and I am happy with them. The Madstad bracket is going to take about 3 years to do (little do you know but the geometry is cunning on the Strom, the cunning f*ckers) and as for the bash plate I may have to do soome GS bling before getting back to that - as well as trying to fit in as much drinking as possible

I`ll happily sell you the frame protectors for now mate but nowt else coz I don't think it`s good enough.

Hi Mark

Did you ever get to complete the UK [therefore better] version of the screen bracket for the Wee?

Cheers, Steve
