650/1000 Low seat - For sale

Hi..

My 650 came with a Suzuki 'lower' seat. I'm quite tall so I've swapped it for the taller DL1000 seat which suits me better..

So, I have an immaculate seat of a 650 for sale. It is the lower version... It will also fit the DL1000.

I know these cost a FORTUNE new and they very rarely come up for sale. The standard ones sell for £100 on EBay so I'm open to SENSIBLE offers for this one.

Can you get the number from the bottom of the seat so we can determine exactly what it is?

The number on the bottom is:     45111-27G00

I think that is the stock seat pan number for the 650 (mines a 2003). If it is Gel/lowered, it will still have the same pan won't it ??

See here for more info. The number you gave doesn't match what I have there, but the last bit of the number makes it look like a stock 650 seat. I'm not sure how much they are worth.

just seen this
was just about to get mine reupholstered with gel pack, so may be interested
is it a gel seat? or simply less foam to make it lower?
where are you? if your not too far I could maybe come n try it see if it suits

I don't know if it is gel or not. It's bloody comfortable though and a good few inches lower.  You would be welcome to try it.... BUT !!!!!

Someone already has first refusal on it and I should know shorty if they're taking it within the next few days..  You are second in line if that helps...

I've suddenly got about 5 people after it and I'm trying to keep it all civil  :lala:
