Title: 2006 DL650 for sale
Post by: Robotstar5 on March 24, 2024, 13:39:02
DL650K5 first registered 01/04/2006 now has 20k miles on odometer.
Looked after, garaged with battery tender plugged in.
Bridgestone Battlax BT023 tyres have about 2k miles on them, chain & sprockets changed at the same time. Top case is a Givi monolock.
I’ve fitted relays to the headlamps to prevent starter button problems, also has loud Fiamm horns, Nightbreaker headlamp bulbs & LED side lights, K&N air filter, auxiliary fusebox with one spare way (others used for headlamps & horns)
Comes with a few parts I’ve never got round to fitting, Scorpion Titanium can, mirrors with indicators and extender brackets if needed, pair of LED auxiliary lamps with mounting brackets, full set of EBC pads and a hardback Haynes manual. Toolkit looks unused.
The bike is no concours machine due to its age, but has a new MOT with no advisories and is located near M42 J3.
Looking for £2400 or best offer.

Nice looking and it sounds like you have loved and looked after it. I'm sure someone will have space in their stable for a nice ride like this. Seems like a very fair price to me too. Someone could probably buy it, do a 5,000 mile holiday, give it a wash and sell it for the same when the summer is here properly. GLWS.   :thumb:

It doesn't help you now, but I am sorely tempted.

@Rookie it will probably still be around when you want a bike, it's been on autotrader for 2 months and all I've had is 2 people interested, one didn't turn up and the other cancelled a couple of hours before. I thought I'd pitched the price right going on sales research and advice from my local bike shop, maybe I'm been wildly optimistic?.

Thank you robostar, but I'm at least a month away from being in a position to be ready to go.
