QBag 50 litre waterproof roll bag
« on: September 25, 2018, 07:55:37 »
Got this from Sportsbikeshop for £9.99 and used it for the first time yesterday. Strapped it to the rear case threaded through the four loops on the bag with the two compression straps supplied and then secured the straps to the rack with a bicycle toe clip strap on either side. Was out for a few hours on a mix on road types and surfaces (including motorway speeds) and it didn’t loosen at all. Used it with a non-slip mat from Halfords which cost less than a tenner half of which is plenty to cover the rear seat. Because I’m very cautious I put a sturdy safety pin through the strap behind the buckle to prevent slippage which is something I’ve done for years on bicycle and cycle racks as a failsafe and serms to have served me well so far.

We’ve got one of those, had it for a few years now, same price from Sportsbikeshop - we put all our camping gear in it, tent, sleeping bags, roll mats and stove, all fits perfectly and the bag hasn’t let us down yet

We also have the slightly more expensive 40 litre waterproof Qbag, £14.99, which we put all our towels, jumpers, jackets etc in - hasn’t leaked once - BARGAIN :-)  :thumb:
