Hi all. What type or style of airhawk cushion fits a vstrom ( riders seat)? There are cruiser, sport etc pads and small, medium and large too. Best fit for a 14 Veek.
I've had two seats now, shad comfort and an oe Suzuki tall seat but still I get this tail bone pain. Comes on about 100-150 mile mark. Thought the tall seat would sort it but its no better really so was thinking about an airhawk.

Seriously try a bit of dead sheep...

A bit of sheep skin rug.

I got 2 'bike seat covers' from LambLand.co.uk
About £20 each. Makes a world of difference and doesn't feel like I'm floating on a lilo like the AirHawk things.

After a long ride last weekend the sheep skin rug option looks great - how did you fix it in place?

Sewed a little adjustable strap on it that goes under the seat.
I've had one on all my bikes at some point.

Makes a huge difference.
I brush it from time to time.

Sheep skin is tough. You'll need a decent needle and a thimble too.

I might try Tony Archer to get the seat reshaped with more padding, thinking of going for the corbin style, likely wait now to have it done over the Winter.

Yep said before, this chap is the business. Sorted out a Bandit 1250 Seat for me. Was an instrument of torture then became a wonderful thing. Give him a bell, worth doing over winter for sure.

. Nowt personal diver. I sem to remember something about the lanolin being removed from the black-dyed pads, rendering them a bit soggier in the wet? maybe you can put lanolin back into them though? I can't remember

Water runs off mine mostly. But leave it in the rain and it will get soggy. You can retreat them.

anybody tried cycling shorts? they have got padding in the arse area.
