DL1050A vs XT
« on: February 12, 2021, 11:30:09 »
Hi - I have discovered that there are more differences between 1050A and XT than I were aware of initially.

One thing is the possibility of adjusting the seat height which I would actually like to do on the 1050A. Except of coarse buying a new seat, are there any ways to increase the seat height on the 1050A? Can I buy (and use) the riser tool for my 1050A that is present on the 1050XT?

I bought the standard DL 1050 and put in seat adjustment kit as an extra (I can't remember how much but I'm sure it wasn't cheap!). It's basically a bracket which fits under the front part of the seat. It raises the seat by about 1.5 cm ? and the seat still looks OK with no big visible gap under the seat.
