Hi, got a brand new V Strom 1050. It's like being a ballet dancer, riding it round town, I haven't come anywhere near its maximum capacity yet. One reason for this is the wet weather. I was told not to ride it in the wet until the tyres were scrubbed in, so basically I've done about 20 miles and that's it, cos it's been pouring! There is one puzzling issue: petrol consumption. It's doing about 25 MG (11km per litre on the dash), which is nuts. Is this because I've only ridden it round town for the time being? I need to find a board for this question, or start a new topic maybe, as I doubt anyone will be very interested in reading about the new boy in town. Looking forward to some forum interaction.
