I've considered all sorts of things. Airhawks, terrahawks, bead cushions etc. You only live once, so I thought stuff it. I sat on a super tenere at the bike show on the touratech stand and it had one of their seats fitted. My hazey memory tells me it was comfy.

:thumb:  If it works, it'll be worth it. What in particular do you find wrong with the oem seat?

@Brockett, unfortunately Bucket is only willing to use his snoodle to find items that he likes.

In no particular order and in no way complete.

Tennis ball.
Kong.
Paul the Bear.
Oliver the Octopus.
Phil the Pheasant.
(This part of the list is copious, before his deafness took hold all his toys had names and he would retrieve them by name.)
Gravy bones.
His food.
Milk.
Other dog's piss.
Bananas.
Anything that lands on the floor.
Any food however wrapped.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

@ Rusty - pressure pain around the cocyx and perineum. I need something a bit more supportive under my arse cheeks, basically.

@tallpaul: I do sympathise as my Z900 seat is firm and somewhat convexed and it hurts like hell  after a few miles , as you describe. I have bought a "low seat" because it has a flat (probably cushion free) profile, onto which I will fit my airhawk seat pad. If the does the trick I hope to find someone to repad the seat with a flat supportive profile.

On my M800 Cruiser the seat fixing creates a hard raised lump right under my cocyx. Others on  that forum complain of the same problem. I think the designers should spend time sitting on one. A thousand years would do it.

Joking aside TP, life and 'bike rides are too precious to waste being uncomfortable. I don't know how much your new perch will cost, if it works it will be worth every penny.

Enjoy. :)

I agree. When I buy something I always lie down. I do this by telling her it cost half what it did.

Give this little beastie a quick run down the road and back. I bought it the missus for Christmas in 2016 and she loved it (many brownie points gained)  :) unfortunately, she broke her back in a freak horse accident a couple of months later and it's been sat in the garage with 148 miles on the clock ever since  ah well, maybe she'll be able to ride it again one day  :auto-dirtbike:

Often I thought about investing in a more comfortable seat with most of my bikes but  the price always changes my mind and I'm not from Yorkshire..  :stirpot:

For me if need more comfort I add a hard mesh cover I bought years ago , always works but if you are willing to pay for a bit of luxury and it suits you, it's worth every penny ..

Enjoy TP ...  :thumb:
