Title: DIY tinted screen
Post by: Dark-Strom on January 04, 2018, 18:04:57
Has anyone here ever experimented ( steady now ) with tinting a screen using the old car lens tinting spray?

Ta.

Tinting is a bad idea, when you get to dusk the tint of the screen really obscures anything in the road- stay with clear. I have a tinted upper, I wish it was clear now.

My sons car has tinted rear windows ,I've moaned at him loads,  it makes it a death trap as you can't see anything.

I wouldn't bother if I`m honest

I tried a tinted screen and found it really distracting as it was reflecting the road back at me, like a rolling heads up display.
As others have said, don't bother.
