About time I said hello
« on: February 14, 2010, 09:59:11 »
Good morning everyone.  I have been lurking on here for a couple of months and you seem relatively normal so I thought I'd de-lurk and say hello.

I don't have a licence yet (doing my direct access next month) and nor do I have a strom.  Weestrom is currently top of my shortlistlist (which also includes the Versys, Tiger 955 and one or two others).  I intend to use the bike to commute to my central London job from home in North Kent.

Look forward to some intesting discussions.

Paul

:welcome2:  to the funny farm! :goof:

I'm sure you would love the wee, great fuel economy, excellent range with a 22l tank and comfortable seat.

Not that I'm biased or anything.

Hello Paul,

Good luck with the licence. I recently passed mine, and chose a wee as my first bike. I can sum it up by saying: It's fantastic. That's all you need to know....
DL650 Wee, MRA Vario tall screen, Oxford Hotgrips, Cymarc frame protectors, DL1000 seat (for that extra inch), Scottoiler, Cut Peashooter, mudguard Extenda, GPS mount made from idiot strip.

I am very normal, now that the happy space cabbages have joined the colliery band.

One day, someone showed me a glass of water that was half full.  And he said, "Is it half full or half empty?"  So I drank the water.  No more problem.
